History of Cooper Slide Rails
Cooper Slide Rails began as Cooper Tool Engineering, a company specializing in press tool making, jig and fixtures, and light fabrication.
In 1974, the company designed and developed a range of motor slide rails to provide an alternative to cast iron rails, which were not only expensive but also difficult to obtain at the time.
Today, fabricated rails have largely replaced cast iron rails, and Cooper Slide Rails has grown to become the largest manufacturer of fabricated rails in the UK.
The company supplies most electric motor manufacturers and distributors in the country.
